Domestic Flights
All domestic check-in counters open 2 hours prior to departure time and close 45 minutes before departure. Please ensure that you have the following documents ready when checking in:
• Your flight ticket – you may show this electronically or as a paper printout.
• Please note: before boarding, you will be asked to show a Departure Tax Receipt. When travelling between provinces, there is a small Provincial tax to pay at the airport.
• Valid ID Document: Passport / VNPF Card / National ID Card / Driver's License / School ID Card.
• Air Vanuatu has a Sales & Information desk at the Port Vila domestic terminal.
Minimum Connection Time
It is important that you give yourself adequate time between your first flight arrival and your next flight departure. This time between flights is known as your minimum connection time.
• Domestic minimum connection time is 1 hour.
Flying with Children
• Air Vanuatu Domestic check-in counters open open 2 hours prior and close 45 minutes before departure.
• Families with young children will be invited to board first to allow plenty of time to make their way to the aircraft and get settled onboard.
