Air Vanuatu Resumes Commercial Domestic Flights as of Monday 20th March, 2023


The National Airline, Air Vanuatu, confirms that Commercial Domestic Flights to TAFEA: Tanna Airport, Dillions Bay, Aniwa, Futuna, Aneityum, SHEFA: Port Vila Airport, Lamen Bay MALAMPA: Norsup, South West Bay, Ulei PENAMA: Longana, Sara, Lonorore SANMA: Santo Airport TORBA: Gaua, Mota Lava, Sola, Torres will resume as of Monday 20th March, 2023.

The domestic airports that are still closed due to maintenance work and further assessment to be completed by CAAV later next week are in TAFEA: Ipota, MALAMPA: Lamap, Craigcove, Paama PENAMA: Ambae and Maewo.

Airports that are temporarily closed pending operational review are: SHEFA: Emae, and Valesdir.

Air Vanuatu will continue to liaise with CAAV about ports that remain closed and will provide an update as soon as these ports are cleared by CAAV.
