Vacancy For Senior Marketing Officer

Location: Port Vila, Vanuatu

Air Vanuatu is seeking a proactive and results-driven Senior Marketing Officer to drive our marketing initiatives, manage our brand, and coordinate campaigns across our domestic. This role will work closely with our appointed marketing agency, supporting the company strategies while ensuring smooth execution of campaigns and alignment with Air Vanuatu’s objectives.

What you will be doing:

  • Support and implement marketing campaigns across digital, social media, print, in-store channels and PR/Communication initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with our appointed marketing agency, supporting campaign development, rollout, and monitoring
  • Manage Air Vanuatu’s brand presence across all touchpoints, ensuring internal and external compliance with company guidelines
  • Oversee marketing collaterals, photography, and videography campaigns
  • Coordinate social media content and monitor engagement, providing actionable insights
  • Work with internal teams and external partners to deliver campaigns on time and within budget
  • Track marketing performance, generate reports, and provide data-driven recommendations
  • Manage communication with local and international media
  • Support urgent marketing initiatives, events, and PR activities as needed

We would like you to have the following:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in marketing
  • Fluent in English and/or French
  • Experience working alongside marketing agencies, supporting campaign delivery
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, social media, and e-commerce platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical skills to evaluate marketing effectiveness and ROI
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external agencies
  • Flexible, with willingness work outside standard hours when required
  • Strong computer skills – Microsoft suite / Google Suite
  • Having the right attitude to carry out the tasks and support the teams in a professional and timely manner
  • Experience in developing work plans and breaking these into small deliverables
  • Ability to collate information from various sources and to produce internal reports for Management

It would be great if you also had the following:

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Communications
  • Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholder partnerships across different locations
  • Creative thinker with strategic problem-solving abilities
