PEKOA AIRPORT COORDINATOR

 

Applications are invited for the position of Airport Coordinator for Air Vanuatu (Operations) Limited.  The position will be based at Pekoa Airport, Santo, Vanuatu. The position will report directly to the Manager Airport.

The successful applicant will be responsible to carry out and oversee the overall Airport operations of the day to day basis ensuring the high standard of Security and Safety is required under Civil Aviation Rules, and will interact with a range of internal stakeholders plus customers and statutory authorities.

Applicants must be suitably qualified for this position and meet the following criteria:-

  • Complete Tertiary Education –Year 13
  • Must be fluent ,both reading and writing in English
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and communications skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work on weekends and Public Holidays
  • Demonstrate leadership role , Staff Supervision / Management and Initiation of Operational and Change Management
  • Trough understanding and experience in office administration related to airline management and be an energetic team player
  • Must be able to provide Police Clearance and a Medical Report declaring fit for all duties

Minimum Qualification

  • Complete Tertiary Education

Special Requirements

  • Be required a local candidate to work and travel at anytime as required by the company.
  • The successful candidate will be subject to a background Check as a condition of employment
