Success for Ni Vanuatu Chefs at the New Zealand Culinary Fare

Sep 05, 14 Success for Ni Vanuatu Chefs at the New Zealand Culinary Fare

Lead by Air Vanuatu’s Executive Chef, a team of local Ni Vanuatu Chefs have done us all proud at the biggest hot cooking competition in the Southern Hemisphere, the New Zealand Culinary Fare. The local chefs competed in a tough environment, against a wide field of experienced chefs, so to have come home with bronze and silver medals is a fantastic achievement!

The team worked hard getting competition ready with the help of David Holliday, Executive Chef of Air Vanuatu, who said of the team’s success, “we are all extremely pleased with the results, the team have put in a lot of work to write their recipes and perfect their dishes and the team have represented Vanuatu well, they are getting better every year”.
