Now showing "Meet the Natives"

Armed with video cameras and warm clothes, five South Pacific islanders from Vanuatu travel around the UK recording their experiences of living with representatives of the three 'tribes' of Britain: the Working Class, the Middle Class, and the Upper Class. From KFC bargain buckets to karaoke, housework to fox-hunting, and dog parlours to stately homes, the five ambassadors immerse themselves in modern British culture, making profound and moving observations along the way.

Episode 1
The ambassadors travel to Norfolk to stay with Simon and Bobbie at
their farmhouse B&B. They learn about English pig-farming,
attend a life-sculpting class and join in the ritual Friday night
activities at the local pub. Many of the things they see they find
very strange, but then they meet Ian, a local rabbit hunter, who
takes them ferreting. His connection to life and nature greatly
impresses the ambassadors, and leads to a remarkable epiphany in
Bobbie's kitchen.
Episode 2
The islanders head off to stay with Manchester couple
Julie and Ray for a taste of British urban life. Visiting their
first British city is an exciting and eye-opening experience for
the islanders but they are saddened to discover how many homeless
people are living on the streets. How, they ask, is it possible for
a city with so much wealth to contain people with no home or family
to shelter them?
Episode 3
The ambassadors travel to Northumberland to stay at Chillingham
Castle, and then head further north. After a run-in with some snow
they head to London, which they find full of people who don't smile
and seem to be rushing everywhere. But in London they receive a
letter inviting them to Windsor to meet HRH The Duke of Edinburgh,
Prince Philip. For the five ambassadors, this is the fulfilment of
all their hopes.
